Keith Bark: Once again we are running the Erin Mills Hogmanay Ball at historic Clarke Memorial Hall in Mississauga. Bobby Brown and the Scottish Accent will be playing for the Ball. There will be a pre-ball reception and dancing from 8pm to midnight with a mid-evening break for snacks. The cost for the Ball is $70. Please make cheques payable to Keith Bark and mail them to Keith R Bark (905-822-1707), 1127 Welwyn Drive, Mississauga, ON L5J 3J4 or give them to me at the monthly dance. Scottish dancing is enjoyed by people of all ages and from many cultures. There is no need to have Scottish ancestry. There is an expression that "The music tells you what to do." Jigs and reels are fast lively dances while elegant strathspeys and Scottish waltzes are slower. A partner is not needed as there is always someone to dance with. Classes are held Monday to Friday, with 4 Beginner classes and 25 Social Groups. Come on out and try this fun dance style.
