This juxtaposes two strongly contrasting duets by emerging choreographers from Sénégal and South Africa. Umthombi uses a dance partnership of controlled energy to represent a boy's coming of age in a rural community. Impro-Visé 2 sees a man and woman emerge from an urban wasteland; as they dance they reveal a relationship with a powerful but ambiguous dynamic.

Connect Transfer reveals Shen Wei's fascination with the transfer of energy between one body and another as they encounter each other on stage. Creating striking architectural and sculptural shapes, the dancers interact in an inventive and daring choreography. As they dance, they paint their own movements onto a giant white canvas, bringing the stage alive with another dimension. The unique painted floor covering reveals the patterns of the dance in a vivid new light, giving visual permanence to the usually fleeting movements. A live accompaniment is performed by renowned pianist Stephen Gosling. Chinese-born Shen Wei trained as a dancer, choreographer, painter and designer. His company is founded on the fusion of different art forms. Its multi-layered works are a remarkable hybrid of western and eastern influences. Michael Clark's three year Stravinsky Project culminates with a new work, I do, presented alongside O and Mmm… in one highly charged evening. Michael Clark is one of the most significant dancers and choreographers to have emerged in the last 20 years. His legendary collaborations with renowned bands, fashion designers and visual artists continue to impact across art forms. Contains nudity. Set inside a towering metal cage, Honour Bound uses spectacular aerial acrobatics, theatre, dance and film to tell the story of Australian David Hicks and his incarceration in Guantanamo Bay. | 19:45 | roadkillContemporary Show, Dancing. Contact organiser for further details. Licensed Bar. To book or for further details: Book, Tel: 0845 120 7511. A couple are stranded in the Australian outback, with a car that won't start, next to a phone box that doesn't work, and their water is running out. They only have each other. Then someone quite unwelcome arrives... This stunning, unsettling piece of dance theatre is a manic ride down the highway of misconceptions about the heart of Australia. Using unorthodox, amazingly irregular movement and intense drama, roadkill is part road movie, part excavation into the urban legends and paranoia that surround the outback – a place where backpackers disappear and the ghosts of original land owners and lost explorers still haunt the bush.
