Improver's Classes (Level 3)

Many beginners just want to try something new, or to learn enough to be able to get around the floor at social dance events. For those that want to go further, we offer classes for improvers. Most of our improvers have already completed one of our beginner's classes, but anyone else who already has a little dance experience is welcome to join the classes, but please do contact us for an informal chat about your level of experience, and to make sure that you join a class that will suit you.

We carry over all the dance styles from the improver's Level 2 class, and add Foxtrot for the first time. We teach a wider range of dance figures, and put them together into slightly longer routines, suitable for social dancing. We also start to be more aware of issues of technique, style and floorcraft and we'll give you every encouragement to start dancing socially.

Content: Ballroom & Latin American dancing for improvers (Level 3). Basic prior knowledge is required.
First steps in Foxtrot.
Next steps in Tango, Rumba & Jive.
Revise and practise Waltz, Quickstep, Cha Cha Cha & Samba (as Level 2).
Enrolment: No formal enrolment. Just bring your partner to the first class and then pay week by week.

Ballroom & Latin American Dance Instruction in Alvechurch and Bromsgrove (Catshill & Stoke Prior). Invitation to Dance requests the pleasure of your company at one of its forthcoming dance classes, or for personal dance instruction. We aim to make our classes fun and friendly, and to enable you to become a confident social dancer.

No Smoking. Car Park. From Village Centre, turn up Bear Hill and take 1st left into School Lane (both signposted St Laurence Church). The Ark is at the very end of the Lane, next to the Church.
