I teach and perform Raqs Sharqi (Egyptian dance). Raqs Sharqi is similar to bellydance but more 'traditional' in style. It comprises sharqi (classical), baladi (urbanised folk) and sha'abi or ghawazee (folk dance). I teach several classes a week at venues across North Hertfordshire including the Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living. I also perform with the group 'Tabeeya'at regional events. I'm available for private parties, demonstrations, workshops, and one to one tuition.
