Samba has a very specific rhythm,played at its best on original Brazilian musical instruments: the tamborim, chocalho, reco-reco and cabaca.
It has a tempo of about 100 beats per minute creating a joyful, contagious Samba rhythm which can be found in many modern hit songs.
