Flamenco Dance classes for children are lively and fun. Students learn zapateado (footwork), palmas (clapping to rhythm), and jaleo (shouting encouragement) to a variety of different flamenco styles and rhythms. Group choreography is taught in addition to basic footwork, arm movements and castanets. Improvisation is encouraged and there is opportunity for performance for all who wish to take part.
