MAD HOT BALLROOM (in cinemas from November 25, 2005) is an inspiring look inside the lives of eleven-year-old New York City public school kids who journey into the world of ballroom dancing and reveal pieces of themselves along the way.

The Society for the Preservation and Appreciation of Old Time Music and Dancing: Our Society was formed in 1984 with the aim of 'Keeping Old Time Alive', with 50 founder members. Membership is now over 1400, most of whom are active dancers or musicians.
