Stylefest is a workshop and battle event created specifically for Hip Hop, Street dance and Funk style performers placing an emphasis on the underground dance scene in the UK. Workshops will be taught by leading dance artists such as the award winning Kenrick ‘H20’ Sandy, Krump junkies founder Kymberlee Jay, UK popping champ Alex ‘Mechanikool’ Peters, Nike Dance Clash winner Clara De Paris and super producer Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante.
Beginning on Saturday 12th April with open workshops in New Style, Popping, Krump and House, Stylefest enables both established and non-established dance performers to learn more about a chosen dance style or test the waters with a brand new style. Battle day on Sunday 13th April begins with the preliminary rounds in order to find the ‘top 8’ dancers to compete in the evening shows. The evening event will consist of the ‘top 8’ battles to find the number one dancer in each of the styles with performances from established dance companies.
