What nourishes us in our movement is the breath. Seemingly of little consequence, when we run out of it, we are lost. It's benefits are ease of movement, calm and gaining the ability to focus and concentrate.
In this workshop the aim is to free our body of tension using the bodywork, calm breath and focusing the breath into each movement.
We will use the creative dance model to dance intuitively and naturally.

Pendulum Moves: Hilal Creative Dance as taught by Pauline Blackwood is a contemporised and universal form based on origins and roots that come from Africa and the Middle East.
The dance is holistic in that bodywork and natural movement gives strength, fluidity and develops skills of creativity, moving with patterns and sequences enhancing vitality and ease in mind and body.
We use world musics and rhythms modern and ancient to explore these themes whilst honouring it's rich past.
