After the great success of the first two 'Not Strictly Ballroom' dance events in Great Yarmouth, the Glitz turns to Romance for a Valentines Dance Special next month. Saturday 12th of February sees another chance to enjoy a social night out with friends over a drink at the Northgate Social Club. There will be the usual mix of modern, upbeat music for dancing or listening to, with Ballroom, Latin and some fun dances - all with a hint of romance. So Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' has got the boot from the playlist for February! Our efforts to turn a regular community hall into ballroom have paid off. We were pleased when one of the January guests, who visits the centre on other nights, was delighted with the transformation. | |||
