Cambridge University Rock 'n' Roll

 Cambridge University Acrobatic Rock 'n' Roll Dance Team: Our large team of young dancers provide stunning dance performances including breath-taking acrobatic figures. We love to teach our dance, particularly at parties & with live bands. Our energetic fast-paced show-dance is based around acrobatic figures. It is performed in a couple, with the man providing the muscle and the woman the acrobatics. Aside from being a show-dance, acrobatic rock 'n' roll is an Olympic-recognized sport

Rock 'n' Roll Instruction at Beginner to Improver level, Practice. Beginners continental rock 'n' roll class. This is an energetic form of rock 'n' roll footwork which can be combined with acrobatic figures. Runs during Cambridge University term times only.

Rock 'n' Roll, Acro Instruction at Beginner to Advanced level, Practice. Beginners and intermediate acrobatic rock 'n' roll dance class. Acrobatic figures are taught, from beginners to international B-class levels, with advanced training available separately for those who master these figures. Runs during Cambridge University term times only.

 Inclusive weekly Modern Jive classes every Monday in central Cambridge for beginners and intermediate levels, followed by a fun freestyle. Core to our ethos is that you choose whether you learn to lead, follow, or both! We meet at Parkside Community College, Parkside, Cambridge, CB1 1EH. There is parking in the school cark park and cycle parking on site and on the surrounding streets. Our standard price is £7, paid on the door. Membership is free.

Jive (French & Modern), Le Roc Course, Instruction at Beginner to Int/Advanced level, Practice at Beginner to Int/Advanced level, Social Dancing at Beginner to Int/Advanced level. Doors open 19:00. Admission £7.00. Bring your own drinks. For further details: Info. Looking forward to welcoming you to Parkside Community College, Cambridge for our weekly modern jive event! Jive4All explicitly promotes an inclusive culture where everyone feels welcome. As such the culture is to accept any dance as long as you feel comfortable. Equally, we believe that a dancer's gender is not relevant to their choice of dance role and we encourage everyone to try different dance roles. Our brilliant, fun teacher Radley Edwards will be teaching two levels of modern jive classes, and there's freestyle dance after: it's £7 for the night with free membership on the door. Schedule: 7.15 beginners 8.10 intermediates 8.40 freestyle 9.45 ends, everyone out by 10.00 Drinks at The Clarendon Arms, all welcome.
