Brimming with original songs, colourful costumes and beautiful movement, this captivating dance adventure will allow children to freely interact with the performers and the storyline. Innocence Pavilion Dance is set to be transformed into a unique performance playroom for the under sevens, as Innocence brings to life the childhood visions and imagination of the poet painter William Blake. Based on the childhood visions of William Blake, Experience is an enquiry into the mystery of being and asks how we parent, how we experience childhood and how we define God in a secular world. Blake was punished as a child for these bold and very real artistic visions, and the performance will question the notion that insanity can be a beautiful thing. Experience is part of The Blake Diptych, a dance theatre experience in two parts, which also includes Innocence, an interactive children's matinee for the under sevens.
