| 20:30 - 21:30 | Belly Dance Intensive - Level 3&4Belly, Raqs Sharqi, Oriental, Egyptian Course, Instruction at Improver to Int/Advanced level, Practice at Improver to Int/Advanced level. Doors open 20:30. To book or for further details: Tel: 01536 518 347. Once the basics have been learnt, the movements are combined into challenging choreographies and routines. This class is excellent for mobility and an increased level of all-round fitness. The classes include the use of veil, finger cymbals and stick. The choreographies can be danced in class as excercise and for fun. Many of the dances are used by the performance troupe, Sahara, so there is the possibility of joining the troupe and dancing in performance at a later date, although this is not a requirement. This class is for dancers who have covered the basic families of movement in Egyptian Belly Dance. The class fee is £27 for a six week course or £6 per session.  Classes in Egyptian Belly Dance; Sahara.Doors open 00:00. Bring your own drinks. Non-Alcoholic Bar. To book or for further details: Tel: 01536 415 635. Performance Classes in Egyptian Belly dance are held in a purpose built dance studio each Tuesday evening. The performance class is from 20.00-21.30. Each term the troupe develop a new dance which may also include dancing with veil, finger cymbals and stick. If dancers wish, there are opportunities to perform traditional Egyptian with the group, 'Sahara' or Fusion with new dance troupe 'Duende'. Performance is always optional and non-performing dancers are welcome to take the classes. We are regularly invited to dance at events including shows, parties and festivals. Belly Dance Basics - Level 1&2. KetteringDoors open 19:00. Bring your own drinks. To book or for further details: Tel: 01536 415 635. Belly Dance Basics - Level 1 & 2. This class includes an introduction to the families of movement in belly dance and is excellent for mobility and all-round fitness. No previous dance experience is required and new dancers are very welcome. I limit the numbers in each class, so that all dancers can progress and make the most of the sessions. Once the basic movements are learnt, there is the opportunity to extend this class by taking the later class. Payment is £30 for 6 weeks or £6 per class. It is possible to try a taster class before you join. There is no charge if you decide not to continue. Please check for availability. | |||
