5th LONDON INTERNATIONAL TANGO FESTIVAL

We will hold the 5th London International Tango Festival on the 13th, 14th and 15th November 2009, at the Porchester Hall in Bayswater, once again organised by the Academia Nacional del Tango (UK) and Las Estrellas Tango Studio, and produced by Takis.

THE SHOWS:

We will have five performances: two matinees on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th, and three evening performances on Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th, all followed by a Grand Ball till 1.00am.

The shows will be compered by Paul Bottomer of Dance Matrix, assisted by Jane Solomon and Nadine Neagle. Live music during the perfomances will be provided by our Orchestras Tango for 3 and El Despues, and during the Balls by El Despues and the well-known London DJ, Tony Walker.

The matinees will feature six of our pairs of dancers, and the whole company will perform in the evening shows, varying their pieces from performance to performance.

"Las Estrellas" is one of London's first dance studios devoted strictly to the teaching the authentic Tango Argentino, a beautiful and sensual dance. Since its opening in 1993, many students of all nationalities have successfully completed their dance courses and now enjoy dancing with their partners in Tango milongas around the world. The atmosphere of the studio is friendly and the student enrolment per class limited which means the personal attention received by the students is complete..
