New social evening ' THE SWING JOINT ' comes to Caterham!!!

Join us do, at the newest, Swingingest Joint in town...Caterham to be exact.

If what you want is to herald in the weekend by meeting pals, dancing,an improver's lesson, enjoying a drink, socialising and listening to great Vintage music played by dedicated D.J's....then look no further!

No Name Jive have brought ' THE SWING JOINT ' to The Royal British Legion, 15 Town End, Caterham-on-the-Hill,Surrey,CR3 5UJ.Its the coolest monthly social evening to Swing your garter's at!

The Swing Joint is to be found on the first floor of The Legion and dancers can enjoy the huge wooden dance floor and quench their raging thirst at the bar after furiously kicking up their heels jumpin' at The Joint!

Held on the first Friday of each month, the first one kicks off on 4th Dec,09 followed by 8th Jan,2010, then the first Friday of every month.

The evening begins with Mark taking you through your paces from 7.45 - 8.30pm in an improver's class (with occasional special guest teachers)and then the evening is yours until 11.30! We may even lay on some guest D.J's for you too... if you (mis)behave yourselves!

No Name Jive1940's-50's Jitterbug, East Coast Swing, Jive and Stroller classes held weekly. 10 week Beginner's courses run on a 'rolling basis' taught by teachers with over 20 years experience between them, followed by improver classes. Regular workshops held in Balboa,Shag and some ballroom to help ease our dancers into the 1940's dance scene. Our fun classes are light-hearted with lots of laughter and patience! We are spreading the Gospel according to the 1940's: glamour, excitement and joie de vivre!

No Smoking. Car Park. The Royal British Legion can be found 7 mins from Junction 6/M25 with FREE car parking only a minute away.The Swing Joint is on the first floor and has a huge wooden dance floor and large bar with comfortable sociable seating.
