Following a successful year of street & hip hop dance courses, Street Sessions is running two Street & Hip Hop dance courses starting the 19th August, one for absolute beginners (those of us who have never danced, but always wanted to!) and another course for those of you who have danced before.

During the course you’ll be introduced to all the basics of street dancing and choreography all set to funky beats selected by your teacher. You’ll also learn floor techniques and will build on a routine each week.

We offer students the option of signing up for a full term (12 weeks) or half a term (6 weeks) and the choice of two levels, Beginners and General.

12 week Street and Hip Hop Dance Term
Thursdays: Beginners 6.45-7.45pm
Thursdays: General 7.45-8.45pm
1. 19th August 2010 - 23rd September (6 weeks)
2. 14th October 2010 - 18th November (6 weeks)

Beginners!

Don't worry if you've never danced before, Street Session’s Street & Hip Hop Beginners Dance Course is specifically designed for those of us who have just a little dance experience or none at all (but have always wanted to!). Our teachers will take you through the basics at your own pace before moving on to the next step.

In our beginner’s course you will be introduced to basic street dancing moves, learn basic floor moves (moves on the floor!) as well as learn techniques to help you link steps and remember choreography.

Our beginners course is a great introduction to dance, and a great way to learn in a fun environment where others are also new to the steps.

Danced Before?

Whether it's been a few years or you just want to get back into dancing - Street Sessions Street & Hip Hop General Course is the best way to ease yourself back into dancing without going back to absolute basics.

This is a faster paced course where you’ll learn a routine, have the opportunity to suggest tunes and improve on your own technique.
