First night of a new weekly drop-in club for traditional English folk or country dancing. Come and try it. Learn new dances, and improve your style.

Experienced caller David Kerridge will be the regular caller. Enjoy yourselves and bring your experience, or learn to dance or call.

Dances will be those collected by Playford, Cecil Sharp and others, written by Pat Shaw and later English dance masters, developed in America or recently written in the English Country Dance tradition. The basis of ceilidh or modern barn dances, they are frequently used in productions of Jane Austen period.
