The Rumba provides the setting for sensual and passionate duel between man and woman on the dance floor. With its pulsating and rumbling rhythms, the Rumba is the slow dance of the Latin world and often referred to as the 'Queen' of all Latin dances. An introduction to learn to dance 'Cha Cha' with Miguel and Martina The Firestation / Basement Studio - JUNE Date Coming soon! 8.00-9.30pm Class description: Cha-Cha-Cha is the newcomer of the Latin American dances. This dance was first seen in the dance-halls of America, in the early fifties, following closely Mambo, from which it was developed. The music is slower than Mambo and the rhythm is less complicated. The interpretation of Cha-Cha-Cha music should produce a happy, carefree, cheeky, party-time-like atmosphere. Recently it was decided to shorten the name to Cha-Cha. Martina is a guest teacher who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in ladies styling techniques
