Dance Through the Ages, Cardiff


Early, English Country, Playford Instruction at Complete Novice to Int/Advanced level. Admission £8.50. To book or for further details: Info, Tel: 07976 374482. Weekly class in 12th to early 20th Century dance. Complete beginners welcome. Classes cover social dances from a variety of periods such as: the Elizabethan pavane, galliarde and almaine, 17th and 18th century English country dances (as seen in film adaptations of books by Jane Austen), Regency waltz, Victorian dances (polka, schottische etc.), and ragtime dances. The dances chosen for a particular class may depend on the number of students present that day. Reduced fees if you pay for the whole term at the first class.
