You can come alone, or with a partner or friends, as there is usually a balance of leaders and followers. The evening has an emphasis on learning this exciting and passionate dance, as well as socialising and having fun. Tango has seen explosive growth of interest in recent months, due in part to media attention, and the popularity of Saturday night TV shows, such as Strictly Ballroom, Dance Fever etc. Although Argentinean Tango has been a worldwide phenomenon for decades, it just never really penetrated the cultural heights of Aberdeen…until now that is!
