Tango (Argentine) Dance ClassYou can come alone, or with a partner or friends, as there is usually a balance of leaders and followers. The evening has an emphasis on learning this exciting and passionate dance, as well as socialising and having fun. Followers are moved around intermittently to allow the opportunity to dance with different partners to gain experience. £5.00 for whole evening. Concessions. | |||

Julieta Pineda was born in Buenos Aires and has been immersed in the tango culture since she was a child. Julieta has been teaching Argentine tango since 2006 and is based in Edinburgh organising such events as the Edinburgh International Tango Festival. Facundo Menendez was born in Buenos Aires and for the last seven years has been dedicated to the dance of Argentine tango. As well as travelling the UK to present workshops Facundo organises Milonga de mis Amores in Edinburgh. Julieta and Facundo teach tango together at the University of Edinburgh (www.eutango.org.uk). | ||
