The annual Thames Festival is a spectacular FREE open-air celebration of London and its river, with an amazing programme of events that transforms the river, parks and open spaces between Westminster and Tower Bridge into a display of artistic expressions from all over the world. Launched in 1997, Thames Festival is now a highlight of London's cultural calendar attracting more than 775,000 people in the last 2007 edition.
